The Second Annual Kiwanis Club of Galena Spring River Trail Run will feature a half-marathon, 5K, and Kids' Fun Run for children under 10. The Galena River Trail is located adjacent to the old Galena Rail Depot 101 Bouthillier St. Galena, IL 61036. Parking will be available in the parking lot as well as on the street. Participants are highly encouraged to arrive early to obtain parking near the start/finish line.

- On-Line Registration closes on May 16, 2019
- Package Pickup: Thursday, May 16, 2019: 4-6 p.m.; or Friday, May 17, 4-6 p.m. at Illinois Bank and Trust 971 Gear St. Galena, IL 61036.
- In-person registration available at package pickup both Thursday, May 16 and Friday, May 17.
- Package pickup will also be available on race day from 6:30-7:30 a.m., at the race starting line. There will be no race day registration.
- Participants intending to walk the half-marathon event MUST begin their walk one full hour (at 7:00 a.m.) before the half-marathon running event. Participants electing to walk must sign in our waiver that they understand they must start one hour early and bring their own water as we will be setting up water stations as they are starting. Walkers must yield to runners and stay on the right side of the trail to allow for passing.
- All Kid’s Fun run participants must register through the on-line registration process with the parent completing the information and signing the waiver for their children.
- This race will be run rain or shine. However, the race directors reserve the right to cancel the race if weather conditions are deemed unsafe for participants (i.e., lightening). There are no refunds.
